Welcome to the home of:
The Beech Grove Soccer Club

BGSC is non-profit organization and is operated solely by volunteers. Please consider helping us out by lining the fields, set-up and or clean-up on game days, work a shift at the concession stand (no children please), etc. Please contact our President, Nikki Shearer or one of our board members if you can help out in any way or have a suggestion that will benefit our club.
As most of you already know, Beech Grove does not have available land at this time for BGSC to host soccer. Southwood Baptist Church and The United Methodist Church have graciously allowed BGSC to use their land for our recreational soccer program. Please be respectful of the property by throwing away your trash in the trash receptacles provided.
We would like to remind you of some important items:
No Smoking
Smoking on the church property or on the soccer fields is prohibited at any time.
No Pets
For the safety of everyone and the cleanliness of the soccer fields and the church property, please leave your pets/animals at home. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPETIONS
ABSOLUTELY NO PLAYING IN THE CREEK, IN THE WOODS OR ON THE BRIDGE.
Practices/Games
Please do your best to be on time. A parent or guardian must remain at the fields during all practices and games. If at any time a special arrangement needs to be made, please inform your coach and be considerate in making sure your child is picked up on time. The coach’s time is as valuable as yours.
Uniforms
Please note – your child will not receive their uniform until the registration fee has been paid in full.
No Jewelry
No jewelry o f any kind may be worn during practices or games. Taping over jewelry is NO longer allowed, this is to protect your child as well as others on the field.
Zero Tolerance
BGSC had a strict no abuse policy with regard to the referees, coaches, other players, or spectators. Our referees are expected to do their best in calling a fair game. Bad calls are a part of any game, but these are nothing compared to the embarrassing spectacles that occur when well meaning parents forget this is a recreational league. Please keep that in mind when the ref misses one.
Lightning and Field Closure
In the event of bad weather, your coach will attempt to contact you if practice is cancelled with as much advance notice as possible. In most cases, the fields will remain open during rain. If cancellation occurs on a game day, you will receive an automated message from BGSS. Tornado warnings or lightning will close the fields automatically – this means EVERYONE must leave the fields.
